What is your favorite recipe?

Beef tartare. 100% Grass fed beef: ground or a steak cut in small pieces: 2 ounces of fresh lime juice, 1/2 tsp of chopped shallots, 1/2 tsp of chopped garlic, 1/4 tsp of chopped thyme, 1/2 tsp of chopped cilantro, 1/8 tsp of chopped ginger root, 2-3 chopped tomatoes. Marinate the beef with the lime juice and herbs for 2-3 hours. Enjoy.

What is a cool fact about yourself?

I walk barefoot quiet often on the natural surfaces of Mother Nature: grass, dirt, sand, etc.

What is your favorite ingredient?

Ginger Root

Can you share a personal fun fact for the readers?

I dance in the park or down the sidewalk with my headphones and iPod shuffle.

What is your favorite cuisine?

Asian sushi with rice, ginger, horseradish, etc.

What is your favorite quick recipe?

Avocado, nuts such as almonds or cashews, raw honey and berries or a banana all blended up and eating as a pudding.

What is the one dessert you'd cheat a diet for?

Homemade pecan pie

What do you think is the biggest myth about food?

The biggest myth is: Saturated fat and cholesterol foods causes heart disease.

What is the craziest food you ever tried?

Deer liver and heart

Why did you decide to pursue a career in nutrition and dietetics?

To help people live free of illness and disease. It brings me such joy when my clients feel better and they learn the skills and knowledge to live healthy lives.
